GO ROCKETS! I have been cheering those two words for a LONG time! I am a proud graduate, class of 1997, of A. C. Reynolds. I then attended Western Carolina University, where I earned my BSEd in Elementary Education. My first three years of teaching were in Charlotte, NC, teaching 5th grade.  That was also where I met my husband. After teaching in Charlotte a few years, my husband and I decided to move back to Asheville to start a family of our own. We now have two handsome sons.
I began teaching 6th grade math at ACRMS in 2004.  In 2009 I passed my National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in Early Adolescence Mathematics for ages 11-15, as well as the PRAXIS for Middle Grades Mathematics.  Last year I successfully renewed my Boards.
In 2011, I moved to the 8th grade, where I spent six years teaching 8th grade math and Math I.

This year I taught 7th grade for the first half of the year, and have now moved into an internship position.  I will graduate in May from WCU with my Masters in School Administration and am thrilled to be in the next chapter of my career!

Most weeks you will find me at ACRMS Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings.  The rest of the week I am working at NBMS.
You can reach me at Reynolds at (828) 298-7484 or by email.
